G. Shelly Maturin II

G. Shelly Maturin II is a workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney from Lafayette, Louisiana. After graduating from Acadiana High School, Shelly earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Southern University in 2000.

For the past 21 years, Shelly has worked for both a personal injury firm as well as a insurance defense firm, where he gained knowledge and familiarity with both the insurance side, as well as the victims' rights standpoint. With a distinct advantage, Shelly has gained valuable experience in workers’ compensation, Longshore and personal injury lawsuits. With a strong desire to fight for injured individuals instead of against them, Shelly's clients will benefit greatly from his knowledge and expertise.
